All right, let me open up CourseHub and build one right in front of you.

From CourseHub, and welcome to this tutorial video.

I'm going to give you a complete overview of how to use the platform.

So the first thing to note is that at the time of this recording, we are in beta,

so this video and the following ones will be updated with the new features.

It's basically your quick start guide.

I logged into a demo account for the tutorials,

and you'll see a dashboard similar to this one.

Dashboard navigation

On the left, you'll find the main navigation for the dashboard,

which is the current page.

Manage courses; this is where you manage existing courses or create a new one.

User management allows you to manage all your users.

Published domain refers to external domains that can be used with CourseHub.

So to add your own publishing domain, click here.

If you have a CourseHub account but you are also enrolled in a course,

you will see all these courses on this page.

We have our updates and the support link below.

In the top right corner, you can:

edit your profile,

log out,

and switch from light mode to dark mode.

Here we have an overview of recent activity, including test users.

You can see me testing things out.

There are:

and we'll help decide the next steps in our roadmap.

First, let's say you want to create a course.

You have two options.

You can create a course yourself with all the content and modules,

or use artificial intelligence to generate one.

First, let's create a standard one.

Click on Create a course, and we arrive at the course creation page.

Create a course manually

So let's give it a title.

A description right here.

I'll pick a logo for this; I just selected an image.

The maximum width is five hundred pixels,

and I'll leave the course as a draft while you work on it.

Click Create Course,

and this creates a new course ready for you to add your modules.

To add modules, left-click here or click Manage Course.

Add modules and media

You will then see this page, which will allow you to build your modules.

Let's say I want a simple course.

I'll just call it Module One: Contents.

You have the option to integrate Vimeo, YouTube, or a custom video format directly into your platform.

I'm gonna get a Vimeo URL.

I go to vimeo.com to retrieve one of my course links.

Let's take this one, a video from one of my workshops,

and you simply enter the URL like this with the number at the end.

Then you can add whatever you want here,

Module resources explained

such as standard layout elements, logos, links, everything you need.

Next, there's this section at the bottom called Module Resources.

These are elements that will appear at the bottom of the module for downloads, external links.

So I'll just add an example here, a link to Google.

For now, you need to enter a URL.

We'll be adding an update soon to upload resources directly here.

That's it for module one, and now we're going to add module two.

Prepare for publication

I'm going to post the same video just to demo requirements here

and add our content right here.

So even if you create your entire course manually, you can do it very quickly.

So now we have our course management page.

I've created a short introductory course here.

Let's say we're back to course management

and you want to prepare the course for publication online.

All you have to do is go there and click on Edit Course,

and here you'll make your selection.

Set course to publish

The status is currently a draft.

You want to set it to publish.

Then you will choose either the default Course Hub URL or your own URL,

which I'll discuss in a moment,

that you would select here.

I'll use the default one from Course Hub

because the goal is to be up and running as quickly as possible.

Course is now live

This course is now online,

Preview the course

and you can click on Course Preview,

which opens a pop-up window with the content,

as you can see here.

Here are the modules.

This is what end users will see without the rest of the navigation progression, etc.

And if you want to remove it at any time, simply change the status.

If you want to grant access to a new user, simply copy the registration link.

Sign-up and testing

I'll open it in a new window, and users can sign up right now.

If you use the Course Hub URL, the Course Hub branding will appear.

If you publish to your custom URL,

this will use the logo and elements you have added.

So let's sign up here.

A quick tip:

if you're running tests, if you have a Gmail address,

you can add a plus sign followed by anything.

Complete the sign-up

It will always arrive in the same Gmail inbox,

but it's considered a one-time email,

so it's useful for testing.

When I sign up,

I receive an email in my Gmail inbox with this tag,

and it will work with the system.

It's sent.

I went to my inbox and just pasted the login credentials.

I'll do that in a new window.

You cannot do this in the same window as your admin account

User login view

because you are already logged in.

That would crash everything.

You log in,

and here is the basic login page that you see,

and here is the course we just created.

So this is what the end user will see.

So an end user taking a course on Course Hub will first see all the courses they are enrolled in.

If they enroll in a course and already have a Course Hub account,

it will simply be added to their existing account.

And then once here, they can click on the modules.

Module navigation & progress

The module number will appear.

I haven't updated the order yet, but it will appear once the order is set.

And you can click on Start the Course to view the full course here.

There are the resources, and there's the video I added.

You can click Next to move to the next or previous module using the navigation.

Optionally, they can click Finish if they wish.

And if they mark items as completed,

when returning to their dashboard,

they will see their progress here,

and they will see a green check mark.

Interface features

This way, if you have a very long and detailed course,

your users will be able to see their progress.

And there's also a light mode and a dark mode.

It is therefore a very simple and clear way to convey information to people.

And once again, as I said, there will be many more new features.

Admin course tools

Now let's return to our administrator account where we set up the course.

I've shown you how to preview, publish, and edit the course.

Now let's manage users.

Let's say you want to control access manually.

Here's the one I signed up for.

This shows my progress.

What we can do is revoke access.

So if you remove this

and the user then returns to their account,

the next time they log in,

Granting access

it will still be there.

If I log out and log back in, it will be gone.

But you can grant them access manually here.

It's also a great option if, for example, you already have a lot of clients in the system

and you want to give everyone access to a course.

You can simply access the course here,

click on User,

and you can add them here.

Bulk and manual grants

Go here and click on User Without Access.

This would be another person in the system whom you want to grant access to.

You can grant all access,

click Update

or manage it this way,

so it's pretty self-explanatory.

Now we have manually created a basic course.

We'll see how to do this with artificial intelligence in a moment.

But before that, I'd like to first review these other procedural aspects.

Next up, managing users.

This is where you manage all account users.

You can control them here, you can edit them.

If, for example, someone asked you to reset their password, you could do it.

You can control what they have access to by clicking on Access.

A window will appear,

and this is another place to enable courses for them or remove the user.

You can also manually add a user here directly in the app for any course.

You add the user,

then go to the login page,

and you give them access to the courses.

Next, publish the domains.

Click here if you want to publish your course on a custom domain.

And it's really quite simple.

You log into your DNS management, so it's going to be...

These are called zone settings.

On this panel, for example,

you will add a CNAME record pointing to app.coursehub.io,

and click Save.

Once that's done, click here to see an option.

I'm just gonna make a demo one.

Now, that won't work because it's not a real domain.

The custom iframe URL is for when you want a user to go to your course page

and have them log in to this section.

On the right-hand side, you could display an ad here.

Enter the URL you want on a secure HTTPS URL,

and it will display exactly what you want.

This could be something, this could be a welcome video from you.

This could be an advertisement for your other products, whatever you like.

So I'll leave this blank for now,

and you can also add a custom logo,

and I'll just add the one for our course here.

So once you add the domain,

it won't do anything until you configure it for verification.

So once the domain is registered, go here.

The first thing to do is check the DNS.

Now, this is gonna fail because I haven't set up any DNS.

So once it's working, it will turn green.

Then once verified, click Activate Domain,

and that means the domain is fully added to your account,

and you'll be able to use it.

So, for example, if I were to go to that domain right now,

which is the one I set up earlier,

as you'll see, it's now a custom domain still using Course Hub,

but it's completely customized to your liking,

and I didn't add the iframe.

And anyone with access to courses in this field can view them by going here now.

Next, your courses.

So if I were logged in as an administrator

and had also assigned myself a course,

I'll see it here.

So let's say I'm logged in as a user of these tutorials now.

So let's go here.

Let's say I want to assign this course, manage users.

Click on Users without Access.

So I'm the administrator here, so I'll grant access.

Now, if I go to your courses, the course is here.

This allows you to view the courses yourself if you wish,

right in the main Course Hub dashboard.

Now, I'm going to show you how to create a course with Leah.

So there's a small preparatory step to take here first.

You must add your OpenAI API key to your profile.

Now, I've already done it,

and if you're not sure how to do it,

just go to platform.openai.com.

You must deposit a nominal amount to activate it.

Next, you'll receive a key,

then simply go to the top,

click on Profile,

and paste your key here.

And this will then be used when you generate courses with Leah.

Let's go back.

Now that that's done, click Create with Leah.

You'll see a simple dashboard or a dialog box

where you specify what to create a course about.

So you can be as specific as you like here.

So I'll say that I want to create a course on selling AI chatbots to local businesses,

and I'll say that we want to have, let's say, five modules.

Simply click on Generate Course.

Leah from Course Hub is doing her work behind the scenes here.

She will therefore draft the course outline for your approval.

Once it's ready, you'll see that it includes a name, a description, and the modules.

If all of this sounds good to you, you can sign up and get started.

Otherwise, simply click Retry.

So I'll click Save and Continue.

This will now generate the entire course.

What it does is first create the course in your account with a URL and everything else.

It is in draft mode,

and all of this remains pending until all content is generated.

Our AI system is now building a detailed module for each part of this plan,

so it may take a little time.

It's usually pretty quick.

It depends on the API,

but your complete course will be ready in just a few minutes.

It's much faster than creating a course manually.

And while it's loading, please stay on this page.

Don't click on anything, as this will interrupt it and could cause everything to freeze.

Please keep the page open until a message tells you it's finished,

and you'll see buttons here to view and edit modules if you want to review them before publishing the course.

And we can see that it's over now.

So here we have our entire course and all our modules.

We can rearrange them if you'd like.

We have a visual rating system here.

Drag them and click to view the module.

If you view the detailed module, you'll get a complete overview.

And once again, this is going to evolve significantly.

We're adding things to it, so it may change.

You'll have the option for short content, long content, whatever you prefer.

So things are still going to change a lot,

but let's say you're satisfied with all the modules now.

All you have to do is publish the course,

and once published, customers will be able to enroll.

And what I'm gonna do is add myself as a user.

It's a great way to get a complete view of what end users will see.

And then you can click here to preview the course.

If you like, this will give you a glimpse of what's to come.

If you want to see it exactly as users do,

click here,

then click View Course.

And there you'd see it all, all built with everything you need.

This is exactly what a user would see,

and that's how you create a course very quickly with Leah.

This method is really useful for offering free courses, for example.

Next, you may have additional offers.

You can edit any module.

For example, let's say you want to sell chatbots.

You have a course on how to use them, and you want to sell it.

All you need to do is go edit your module.

You could add a video or simply scroll down and add your own content.

You can add links.

It's as intuitive as any text editor, and you would put your URL here.

So it's really powerful, very simple, and easy to set up.

To be honest, when we release an update for every item listed here,

there are twenty more behind the scenes.

We won't be noting every minor correction or improvement,
